Friday 28 November 2025 Year 4 Vikings workshop This term, year 4 have been continuing there understanding of history by learning about the Vikings and how they fought for power with the Anglo-Saxons. They have made some fantastic Viking longboats, travelled around a map of the world to raid, trade and settle and today they took part in a workshop where they acted out some of the battles between the two sides. Year 4 were so interested and enthusiastic and showed off their knowledge to the workshop leader. They also handled some artefacts and made their own replica of hacksilver.

Friday 28 November 2025 Pantomime 2025 Today the children in Years Reception to Year 3 enjoyed a pantomime performance of Snow White. The children really enjoyed this energetic performance, especially the guest appearances of Mr Ansell and Miss Blackwell.

Wednesday 22 October 2025 Kilvrough 2025 Year 6 enjoyed some autumn sunshine and beautiful blue skies on this year's residential trip to Kilvrough. They were able to experience activities including caving, abseiling, team games and beach art during their week away.

Wednesday 8 October 2025 Y4 Oxford Natural History Museum trip Year 4 had a fantastic trip to the Oxford Museum of Natural History where they learnt all about arthropods and insects, even handling some live cockroaches! They were all very enthusiastic about everything they saw and loved looking around the museum at all the different creatures - especially the ones they got to touch!

Monday 15 September 2025 OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) provision was launched this week. Many of the children have thoroughly enjoyed accessing new play materials including Lego, musical instruments, dressing-up clothes and sensory play, and this is just the beginning of what we would like to do over the coming 18 months.

Wednesday 16 July 2025 Binocular Vision Workshop EYFS and Year 5 took part in a Binocular Vision workshop. While trying to score goals, the children wore goggles that shifted their vision, giving them a fun and challenging new perspective. They also created brain models from playdough and discussed the different parts of the brain and their functions. Thank you to members of staff from the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences for running this engaging event.
