STEM Fair June 2026

Our STEM Fair provided a fantastic launch event for our brand-new STEM Room, bringing together pupils, families and experts from a wide range of scientific and technical fields.
We were delighted to welcome 18 STEM delegates, including parents, grandparents and PhD students who generously gave their time to inspire our children.
The delegates shared their expertise and enthusiasm across an impressive range of careers and disciplines, including sustainability, malaria vaccines and antibodies, biology, evolution and natural selection, technology and engineering, general practice medicine, physics, speech and language therapy, architecture, mathematics, pathology and entomology (the study of insects) and even more!
Throughout the event, pupils had the opportunity to ask questions, take part in hands-on activities, explore real-world applications of STEM subjects and learn about the many exciting pathways available to them in the future.
The STEM Fair was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, innovation and discovery, and a fitting way to officially open our new STEM Room.
The impact of the event was clear from the pupils' enthusiastic feedback. Melodie (Year 5) said, “They brought in real-life things to the fair, such as the stick insects. The activities were all fun and the people were all interesting.” Yusif (Year 5) commented, “It was really open and you could do whatever you wanted. It was fun and the maths was hard but fun. The microscope was incredible – you could probably see atoms! You can have an open mind.”
Thank you so much to the 18 delegates for helping to make the event such a memorable and inspiring experience for our pupils. Their generosity, expertise and passion helped bring STEM to life and made the opening of our new STEM Room a truly special occasion.
